The Foundation, creators of the peer-to-peer NEM blockchain platform and the XEM cryptocurrency, announced a collaboration with one of Australia’ most popular digital currency exchange, Coinspot, which has over 100 digital currencies on its platform, including XEM. Foundation is in 40 countries across 100 cities and has a strong presence in Australia and New Zealand through it’s team size of over 20 team members and partners. Its latest announcement was the launch of the NEM Blockchain Hubs, in Brisbane, Australia and Westport, New Zealand respectively. These Hubs act as a physical location to engage with the public through on-ground meetups and events. The NEM blockchain platform has been showcased in major cities across Australia and is working with industry bodies, as well as both in the public and private sectors.

If you’re registering on Coinspot for the first time, use the referral email address and you will also be eligible to have AUD$10 of XEM cryptocurrency credited in your new account. This promotion is for a limited time and only available for the first 1,000 users.

Founded in 2013, Coinspot is intentional in keeping things simple for users to buy and sell cryptocurrency, accessible on multiple devices. The year 2018 saw CoinSpot lower its fees and also achieve compliance with Australia’s new anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations. Coinspot recently introduced livechat support function and is making conscious efforts to engage with customers effectively.

Paul Brearley, Business Development Director for Coinspot, said, “We have listed the XEM cryptocurrency for some time and out of the hundred over digital currencies in our platform, it been one of the top favourites amongst users on Coinspot. Hence, we are looking forward to this collaboration opportunity to work with the Foundation in promoting awareness towards cryptocurrency and blockchain.”

Jason Lee, Expansion Director for Australia and New Zealand for Foundation, said, “Working with Coinspot means that we are able to provide a convenient way for everyone, from everyday Australians to cryptocurrency investors and blockchain entrepreneurs to buy and sell XEM as we focus on blockchain technology adoption.”
